Bosa Marina
The River Temo flows into the Mediterranean at Bosa Marina.
A lively sea side resort in season when numerous bars, cafes
and restaurants open up, it has a large, wide expanse of
soft, fine sandy beach partially sheltered by the harbour
walls, that lead to the imposing tower of Isola Rossa. This
is open to the public in high season and sometimes houses
art exhibitions.
There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained,
not just from the beach such as windsurfing and kite surfing,
but boat hire, scuba diving excursions, boat and fishing
trips.
The small train station is here where you can take
the Little Green Train inland to Macomer, winding through
the beautiful countryside where vineyards and olive groves
can be seen.
