Hunting in Sardinia
WILD BOAR In Sardinia hunting has been a way of life for generations and the Sardinians have successfully combined their love of the sport with their love of food and wine.

Our hunting breaks will bring you the passion of hunting with the pleasure of food. Combined with excellent cuisine throughout the day it will be an experience to truly remember. Personal attention will be given at all times with a translator in attendance during the shoots.
	The hunting reserve of approximately 150 hectares is set in the north west of Sardinia in the beautiful mountain area of Monte Fromma and is owned and managed by a local syndicate. It is a friendly organisation who wish to share the thrill of the hunt with both experienced and novice guns. Two boars per shoot is guaranteed and included in the price, higher numbers can be arranged on request.
The reality of wild boar hunting is some guns will shoot more than others, but the shoot is well organised and its aim is to present quality hunting with each gun having a fair share of sport. The team will consist of 16-20 guns accommodating experienced and the less experienced shooters. Because of the terrain, you will have to be reasonably fit. We can accommodate single guns wishing to join up with larger groups, or teams looking for a unique experience.
Hunting starts at approximately 8.30am after a short transfer from the hotel and continues until the daylight fails. Breakfast and lunch will be taken at the lodge.
	Accommodation is at the Sa Lumenera hotel situated on the headland overlooking the gulf of Bosa Marina. Prices are for shared accommodation, but single rooms can be arranged at a small supplement. All rooms are en-suite, with TV and private balconies. Your food will be locally sourced, cooked by award winning chef Steve Capell who has cooked professionally all over the world and has lived in Sardinia for the past 7 years. This will be the second thrill of the day.
		The price of £800 is inclusive of all transport, accommodation and food, hire of guns, hunting fees, dogs and handlers. Airfare, insurance and ammunition are not included. Non participating partners are welcome at a reduced price of £650. Breaks are available during Feburary and March and September to December 2010. All participants must hold a valid gun licence and the necessary insurance.
PARTRIDGE & QUAIL SHOOTS are also available with prices and conditions on request. It is important that we know if you have any allergies or medical conditions
