Typical village house in the picturesque village of Scano di Montiferru

Set in the heart of the historic centre of the village this spacious house is typical of the traditional houses which surround it. Probably built between 100 and 150 years ago the house is of stone construction and the facade has been restored with the stone visible. The pretty village is around 15 minutes from the coast and beaches and around 20 minutes from the coastal town of Bosa.

On entering on the ground floor there is a good sized reception room with original vaulted ceiling. At the rear there is a good sized bathroom, in need of modernising and also a store room. Taking the wide stairway with slate treads to the first floor here there is another ample reception room and a large bedroom, both with antique tiled floors, continuing up to the second floor there is a kitchen with huge original fireplace that also incorporates an antique bread oven, still in excellent condition, here there is another large bedroom with open beamed ceiling and original Chestnut wood floor. From the kitchen there is a small terrace with views over rooftops to the pine wood

The house is generally in good condition with some decorating and updating needed. The electrics, while having been renewed at some point from the original surface mounted system, will need to be modernised.
